Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026 · Go Beyond Clinical Services, LLC (North Carolina)

Go Beyond™ Function Finder is designed so that sensitive information about students is never stored. This policy explains what the product does and does not collect.

Who is responsible for your data

Go Beyond Clinical Services, LLC (North Carolina, USA) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide why and how your information is processed and are responsible for handling it lawfully. Questions about this policy can be sent to gobeyondabilities@gmail.com.

What we collect, why, and our legal basis

We collect only what is needed to provide the product:

  • Account details (name, email address, password) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
  • Purchase and credit records (what you bought, when, and how many report credits remain) — to verify paid access and keep accurate financial records. Legal basis: contract performance and legal obligation.
  • Report usage records (who generated a report and when — never its contents) — to enforce purchase limits and prevent fraud. Legal basis: contract performance and our legitimate interest in security.
  • Anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, assessments started and completed) — to improve the product. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding product use. These events never include student information.
  • Optional email updates (your email address, if you join our update list) — to send occasional product news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle (see "Payments" below); we never see or store them.

Student and assessment data is never stored

We do not ask you for student names or identifiers, and we do not store the observations you enter. Antecedent–behavior–consequence (ABC) entries, interview notes, and the generated report exist only for the duration of your working session. When your session ends, the assessment content is permanently deleted and is not backed up, archived, or used for training.

You are responsible for downloading your report before your session ends. Reports you download are yours to keep; we have no copy.

Account information

To purchase reports or redeem an access code, you create an account with your name, email address, and password. We store only your account details, purchase and credit records, and a record that a report was generated (who and when — never its contents). Sign-in is offered through email or Google. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing us.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle.com is the reseller for all our orders: it collects payment, handles sales tax compliance, invoicing, and customer service inquiries about purchases. We share with Paddle the information needed to complete your order (such as your name, email, and purchase details). We never see or store your card details. We retain a record of your purchases and report credits so access can be verified securely.

Who we share data with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that host and operate the product (cloud hosting, analytics).
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for orders, subscriptions, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
  • Authorities where required by law.

We never sell your personal information.

Data retention

Assessment content (ABC entries, interview notes, generated reports) is never stored — it exists only during your working session and is permanently deleted when the session ends. Account, purchase, credit, and usage records are kept while your account is active and for as long afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed except where we are required by law to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email gobeyondabilities@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog) to count anonymous product usage — for example, how many assessments are started and completed. Analytics events do not include student information or the content of your observations.

Optional email updates

If you choose to join our update list, we store your email address to send occasional product news. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we never sell or share the list.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact page go to our email at gobeyondabilities@gmail.com. Please do not include identifying student information in messages.

Children's information

The product is used by educators and professionals, not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect identifying information about students from any source.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves; the effective date above will change. Questions or requests can be sent to gobeyondabilities@gmail.com.
